Louisiana, more particularly amending and rezoning Lot X2, Square 378, Highway
Park Subdivision, Kenner, Jefferson Parish, Louisiana, as shown on survey of
Gilbert, Kelly & Courturie, Inc., dated August 26, 2025, from C-1 Neighborhood
Commercial to RR-1 Single –Family Residential. Case No. Z-1-26 (In accordance
with the City of Kenner Charter, this item shall have a 28 day layover.)
16-B. Summary Ordinance No. 14,032, an ordinance amending Ordinance 11,062,
adopted March 17, 2016, entitled Unified Development Code of the City of Kenner,
Louisiana, more particularly amending Section 5.03 use definitions and Section
6.10 Commercial Districts to permit certain driving schools in the C-1
Neighborhood Commercial Zoning District. Case No. Z-2-26 (In accordance with
the City of Kenner Charter, this item shall have a 28 day layover.)
16-C. Summary Ordinance No. 14,033, an ordinance approving the utilization of State
Contract No. 4400023793, Line 89, for the purchase of 2026 Ford F550, 4x2
Chassis, 6.7L Diesel Engine from Courtesy Automotive Group, in the amount of
$65,433.85 for the Department of Fleet Management.

16-D. Summary Ordinance No. 14,034, an ordinance renewing an agreement with LB
Technology, Inc. to supply GPS (ONLY) Tracker Equipment and service for City of
Kenner vehicles on an as needed basis in an amount not to exceed $90,000.00
annually for the Department of Fleet Management.
16-E. Summary Ordinance No. 14,035, an ordinance accepting the lowest responsive
bid received from The Flying Locksmiths of New Orleans to furnish and install
automatic door upgrade at 415 Williams Blvd (Mayor’s Court) in accordance with
Electronic Bid 26-2195 in an amount not to exceed $31,185.00 for the General
Services Department.
16-F. Summary Ordinance No. 14,036, an ordinance approving Change Order No. 1 to
the agreement with KMT Painting & Decorating, LLC dated August 12, 2024
regarding the interior repairs at the Pontchartrain Convention and Civic Center
for a new increase of $245,158.00, increasing the total not to exceed to
$1,825,158.00, and adding Two Hundred Ninety-Nine (299) working days for the
General Services Department.
16-G. Summary Ordinance No. 14,037, an ordinance approving Change Order No. 1 to
the agreement with Legacy Restoration and Referral, LLC dated June 23, 2025 to
remove, furnish and install windows and related at Heritage Hall for a net increase
of $18,569.60, increasing the total not to exceed amount to $99,569.60, and to add
Twenty-One (21) working days for the General Services Department.
16-H. Summary Ordinance No. 14,038, an ordinance accepting the bid received from
Fire Station Furniture to purchase Six (6) Fire Station Recliners in accordance
with Electronic Bid 26-3066 in an amount not to exceed $5,191.91 for the Kenner
Fire Department.
16-I. Summary Ordinance No. 14,039, an ordinance accepting the lowest responsive
bid received from Industrial Fire and Apparatus, LLC for repair and maintenance
services for Fire Truck Fleet in accordance with Sealed Bid 26-6929 in an amount
not to exceed $350,000.00 annually for the Kenner Fire Department.
16-J. Summary Ordinance No. 14,040, an ordinance authorizing the purchase of a 6-
Point Technical Rescue Kit (RES-Q-JACK) from Municipal Emergency Services
(MES), a sole source provider, in the amount of $26,448.00 for the Kenner Fire
Department from a grant received from Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation,
Inc.
16-K. Summary Ordinance No. 14,041, an ordinance approving an agreement with
Ochsner Clinic Foundation for Cancer Screenings for certain Firefighters and Fire
Service Employees as required by R.S. 33:2581.4
16-L. Summary Ordinance No. 14,042, an ordinance authorizing the use of State of
Louisiana Contract No. 4400028582 and a Financing Agreement with Axon
Enterprises, Inc. for the purchase of the AB4 POV Helmet Cam Bundle Package,
including all associated hardware, software, peripherals and applicable training,
in an amount not to exceed $75,000.00 for the Kenner Police Department.
16-M. Summary Ordinance No. 14,043, an ordinance authorizing the use of State of
Louisiana Contract No. 4400034483 with Buckeye International, Inc. to purchase
cleaning, disinfecting, and janitorial supplies on an as needed basis in an amount
not to exceed $20,000.00 annually.
16-N. Summary Ordinance No. 14,044, an ordinance approving an agreement with
Vanderbrook & Co., LLC, Certified Public Accountants for financial consulting in
an amount not to exceed $90,000.00 for the Kenner Police Department.
16-O. Summary Ordinance No. 14,045, an ordinance accepting the lowest responsive
bid received from Chem Spray South, Inc. to provide ditch spraying on an as
needed basis in accordance with Sealed Bid 25-6931 in an amount not to exceed
$50,000.00 annually for the Public Works Department.

received from Crescent City Tree, LLC to provide tree work on an as needed basis
