Public Hearing for Abatement of Weeds and Consideration of Adoption of City Council Resolution No. 15-3474 Overruling any Objections to the Proposed Abatement of Weeds and Ordering the Abatement. Recommendation: 1) Open the Public Hearing and receive public testimony and comments, and find that weeds, still remain on the properties as shown on Attachment 1; and, 2) Adopt City Council Resolution No. 15-3474: Overruling Any Objections to the Proposed Abatement of Weeds and Ordering the Abatement. 9. New Business A. Adopt Emergency Water Reduction Regulations. Recommendation: 1) Adopt Resolution 15-3473 establishing a penalty for the conservation measures imposed by the State Water Board and provide direction to staff on the additional conservation measures presented in the staff report; or in the alternative 1) Provide staff with further direction. [PAGE 4] B. Appointment to the Active Adult Commission and Setting of First Commission Meeting. Recommendation: 1) Mayor, upon recommendation from the Interview Selection Committee appoint two Active Adult Commissioners to a two year term and appoint two Active Adult Commissioners to a four year term; and 2) Council, nominate and appoint one council member to a one year term; and 3) Council, select a date, time and location for the first Active Adult Commission meeting. 10.
