Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, the St. Joseph Park Board met in regular session on Monday, February
23, 2026, at 6:30 PM at St Joseph Government Center.
Members Present: Jeff Buersken, Milton Hodge, Eli Stenman, Andy Rennecke
City Representatives Present: Rhonda Juell, Adam Schnettler
Approve Agenda: Rennecke made a motion to approve agenda; seconded by and Buersken passed
unanimously
Approve Consent Agenda: motion Hodge to approve consent agenda; seconded by Rennecke and passed
unanimously

Staff:
Juell – Seniors at Game Show Studio in March, Community Pilates on Mondays, Bingo on Wednesday
nights, Youth Flag Football in March, Summer Rec activities sign up starts March 1, Adult Egg Hunt on
April 3, Puzzle Competition April 12, Walk and Talk are one a month
Council:
Schnettler – nothing new
Old Business:
Movie – Park Board members selected The Minecraft Movie for the Movie in the Park on May 16
New Business
Klinefelter Park playground – Brianna from Northland Recreation was there to go over the playground as it was
bid. We requested a couple changes that she will work on and get back to us. Jeff Buersken asked her to give
him details on the crushed rock needed. His company would like to donate that. More to come on those
updates at the next meeting.
Ebikes – Park Board will look over other cities ordinances at the next meeting to see what can be done in St
Joseph to keep Ebikes off sidewalks and trails to keep residents safe. Get signs out to inform residents where
Ebikes are not allowed.
Adjourn: Rennecke made a motion to adjourn at 7:45; seconded by Buersken and passed unanimously.
