WHEREAS, the position of President of the City Council is an order of business of the newly
organized City Council;

as the Official Publication for the City of Schenectady
WHEREAS, the Charter and Code of the City of Schenectady and various provisions of the
New York State Law at certain times require the use of an official publication for the City; and
NOW, THEREFORE BAE IT,
RESOLVED, that the Daily Gazette, a newspaper publication of general circulation within the
City of Schenectady, is hereby designated for the years 2026-2027 as the official publication of the City
of Schenectady, New York.
