OSKALOOSA CITY COUNCIL
SPECIAL MEETING
March 23, 2026
The Oskaloosa City Council met in special session on Monday, March 23, 2026 at
6:10 p.m. with Mayor Pro Tem Drost presiding and the following members answering
roll call: Almond, Caligiuri, Drost, Hermsen, Holmberg, Ibrahim and Sword. Absent:
None. Hermsen joined the meeting electronically.
It was moved by Caligiuri, seconded by Ibrahim to approve the March 23, 2026,
Special Meeting Agenda. The roll was called and the vote was:
AYES: Almond, Caligiuri, Drost, Hermsen, Holmberg, Ibrahim and Sword
NAYS: None
Whereupon the Mayor Pro Tem declared said motion approved.
Sword introduced Resolution No. 26-03-48 entitled “RESOLUTION ADOPTING
THE PROPOSED FY2027 BUDGET AND SETTING DATE FOR PUBLIC HEARING”
and moved its approval. Ibrahim seconded the motion. The roll was called and the vote
was:
AYES: Almond, Caligiuri, Drost, Hermsen, Holmberg, Ibrahim and Sword
NAYS: None
Whereupon the Mayor Pro Tem declared said resolution duly adopted.
It was moved by Almond, seconded by Caligiuri that the meeting adjourn. Motion
carried unanimously. The meeting adjourned at 6:45 p.m.
