Notice to Citizens: City Council meetings are open to the public unless otherwise allowed by
law. The purpose of this meeting is for the Council to convene in open session and then
immediately move to meet in closed session pursuant to Md. Code Ann, General Provisions
§ 3-305(b), as more fully stated in the motion to meet in closed session. While the majority
of this meeting will be held in closed session, citizens may observe the open session portions
in person at Council Chambers or online at Town Hall - Town Hall Streams.
Agenda
5:15 pm 1. Meeting called to order in Open Session.
2. Motion to hold a Closed Session pursuant to: 1) Md. Code Ann § 3-305(b)(1) to
discuss personnel matters affecting specific individuals over whom the Council
has jurisdiction; 2) § 3-305(b)(7) to consult with the City Attorney to obtain legal
advice; and § 3-305(b)(10) to discuss public security, specifically, the deployment
of police services and staff, where public discussion would constitute a risk to the
public or to public security.

to the Maryland Open Meetings Act, all or a portion of this meeting may be held in closed
session by vote of the Commissioners. Please note that the order of agenda items is subject
