11A. Report from City Manager/Executive Director
During this part of the meeting the City Manager/Executive Director or designated staff will have an opportunity to report on various City matters and/or respond verbally to questions or comments from the prior City Council meeting, including any request by the City Council to provide a brief supplemental report or brief follow-up response to items from the prior City Council meeting's agenda.
11B. City Council Communications/Committee Reports/Meeting Reports
During this part of the meeting members of the City Council report to the community on various matters of interest, including reports concerning committees on which the Councilmembers serve and reports on meetings/conferences attended. In addition, verbal reports will also be provided in such cases where the City Council-appointed delegate and/or alternate is unable to attend a scheduled meeting, and there is insufficient time to schedule an agenda item for Council consideration of another alternate, necessitating a Mayor's urgency appointment. Requests may also be made of staff for reports which will be presented to the City Council at a subsequent meeting, or for the scheduling of future agenda items. There will be no discussion or action taken on any of the items that may be presented during this agenda item, except to cancel or reschedule a City Council public meeting.
