Summary
The City of Saint Paul conducted a streetcar feasibility study to evaluate the feasibility of developing streetcar services in Saint Paul, identify a long-term network of proposed lines, and prioritize potential initial segments for streetcar investment. The study found that streetcar service could provide transportation and stimulate economic development in the city. A proposed long-term network of seven lines was developed, with the East 7th and West 7th Lines identified as the strongest potential projects.
